I'm a Norwegian music teacher just starting at a new school where they have been lucky to get hold of ten iPad 2's. I immediately thought to myself: YES, thinking of the possibilities one could use the iPads in the music subject, more precisely using Garageband. But that dream soon dwindled, as I found out the iOS updates for these iPads ended at 9.3.5, and when trying to download Garageband from App Store, it would not install unless iOS 10 was installed. This was such a letdown. So I was wondering, is there any way, any way at all, where one could install an older version of Garageband on these iPads, without having bought any previous versions of GB?
