Purity Ring are a Canadian electronic music duo formed in 2010 consisting of Megan James and Corin Roddick.

There's nothing wrong with Danny in the song, in fact if he had done the chorus part slightly differently it could have gone without Purity Ring in my opinion.It really does tie the song together though, Danny talking about himself and his mom and stuff, and Purity kind of gives a woman's perspective to the song and really brings it together.
