Do one of the following:
Tap Download button for the loop you want to add.
Drag a loop from the Loop Browser to the empty cell.
If the loop features a different instrument that the one originally used by the row, the icon for the row changes to a speaker icon.

If I remember correctly, (not knowing enough about computers to use the proper terms here) it doesn't have a grapics display that allows you to see the effect as it's supposed to be shown. It defaults to a generic 'black and white' kind of display.As for not fitting on your screen, I used to have that problem with another OS with some plug-ins. I had to get rid of all my task bars and menu bars, etc.just to barely be able to see all the buttons.
